I thought of joining a tour group before... but after reading this magnificent website, i finally decided to go to egypt by myself in late May~ ^__^ (i'm too greedy and wanna visit more places!)

Hence, I have a few questions and needa help~

1) what time do tour agencies usually close i cairo downtown? my plane will probably arrive cairo at around 3pm, so i'm wondering if i have time to settle down things in the hotel first, and then going to book local packages on the first day. Pls advise *__*

2) do shops and temples etc close down on sunday?

3) is it very difficult to get train tickets? can i get them from travel agencies instead? any tips? any reccommended local travel agencies? *__*

1) I think no problem, or you may book tour through your hotel.

2) No.

3) You can buy it by yourself, through travel agencies or your hotel. May should not be high season but of course advance booking is safer. I booked everything through my hotel and hence no recommendation on travel agencies.
